Mark Stuart Burrows

His first music degree he received from Cardiff University and thereafter studied voice and Opera at the New England Conservatory of Music Boston New England. In 1995 he was the first British singer to be awarded a place on the apprentice Opera programme at Santa Fe Opera. In 1996 he was a finalist in the International Belvedere Competition in Vienna.Over the past  years he has recorded many TV appearances and performed all over the UK in concerts including St. David’s Hall Cardiff, Usher Hall Scotland, and the National Concert Hall Dublin. Mark Burrows has worked as music producer and director with the BBC for many years, producing such Artists as Bryn Terfel, Sir Anthony Hopkins, and music of a lighted vein including Simply Red. In the Choral world, Mark has produced many of the UK’s leading Choirs in Television programmes, together with arranging tours and concert promotion for such leading Choirs as the Morriston Orpheus Male Choir, the Treorchy Male Choir, Pendyrus Choir or Fron Male Choir over the past 10 years. He was a jury Member of Warsaw International Choir Festivals and Golden Nightingale Choir Festival in Wales.
